Larry is headed to the White House for an exclusive one-on-one interview with President Bush on Friday.
Larry's interview with the President will air on Friday night's "Kudlow & Company," at its usual time, 5:00pm EST.

Tell him that if he will explain/show how he's going to "secure" the border, I'll get behind him on the "rest."
p.s. I don't want to hear any babble about "virtual" fences. I want to see some "Concrete and Steel."

Dubya, your base is going to be mad until they "See" some "Concrete" action.
Dubya, Americans kind of have a sneaking suspicion that, with an economy this good, the "illegals," if they're not helping, can't be hurting us too bad.
Americans have always appreciated people who "work hard," and "help out." We just don't want to be taken advantage of.
I think if Bush gave in on the fence and security issue (build the fence, dammit!), he'd get nearly everything else he wants; guest workers and a path to citizenship for those who are here. Sure there'd be some on both sides that would still scream, but I think he'd get better than 2/3 of the public to back him, and that's as much as anybody can hope for in politics.
I'm with LFC - in a post 9/11 world, a porous border is ridiculous. Nobody will believe any enforcement effort until there is some manifestation of enforcement. I'm all for assimilation, and some forgiveness, and staged citizenship, but I am not in favor of Vincente Fox writing our immigration policy. Build a wall - it will not offend anyone who has a legitimate right to be offended.
Im sure you'll grill him Kudlow -- hes prob shaking in his boots right now. Make sure you agree w/ everything he says ..oops I forgot you do that already.

I hope you will ask this:
How can any fiscal conservative get behind an adminstration that has actually increased Big Government by any by any paramamter you wish to measure it (spending, size, rate of growth, deficit) at a rate that even exceeds LBJ's Great Society.
I have come to the conclusion that your fellow Reagan economic advisor William Niskanen outlined: Only Divided government actually works to restrain Big Government. Nothing else does.
At this point conservatives must choose whether they are more concerned about the actual objective of "Limited Government" as opposed to mindless loyalty to a party that no longer stand for anything. - mw
